Sir Mark Elder recorded Bax’s orchestral In Memoriam with the Hallé Orchestra in November 2014. The recording will appear on the Hallé’s own label but couplings at this time have not been announced. This is the first recording of this work since Vernon Handley’s premier recording on Chandos in the late 1990s.
