Sir Mark Elder is to perform and record Bax’s orchestral In Memoriam with the Hallé Orchestra in November 2014. The Halle Concerts take place on November 6^th at the Bridgewater Hall and again on November 24^th at the Arts https://nygoodhealth.com Centre Warwick. The recording will appear on the Hallé’s own label. This is the first recording of this work since Vernon Handley’s premier recording on Chandos in the late 1990s.
