Fand Music Press has published Bax’s Scherzo for Piano and Dance in the Sun, the latter in an arrangement by John Mitchell. Dance in the Sun is the second of Four Orchestral Pieces that Bax wrote in 1912–13 and Mitchell’s arrangement is for solo piano. The Scherzo for Piano is a first edition, edited and typeset by leading Bax authority Graham Parlett. Both works pose considerable technical demands for more advanced pianists.
